Reminiscing with Mom

Mom and I spent some time reminiscing. She laughed at what I wrote recently about when one of us boys got hurt doing something, and she'd say, “…I bet you won’t do that again.”

I brought up the time we would put bumper stickers on her car. One time I got a handful of stickers from a radio station that said Crank It Up. I put one on the rear bumper of her car. She saw it when walking to the car after shopping one day. She pulled that sticker off. I told her I also put the same stickers on all the starter motors of tugboat engines and pump engines out at the shipyard. My boss, Bruce Stapp, tried to find out who was putting stickers on the starter motors. He never found out who it was. We laughed about that.
