Baa Baa Black Sheep
Right after I graduated from college, my parents were living in Huntington Beach, California. I would fly out every so often to visit. Early one morning at sunrise, I went out to Balboa Island to walk on the beach. Off in the distance, I heard a rumbling noise, then, before I knew it, five F4U Corsairs flew directly over me at an altitude of about 200 feet. They were heading out to Catalina Island for filming an episode of Baa Baa Black Sheep. When those F4s flew over, the radial noise went through my body—really interesting experience.
