Artemis II Lunar Flyby

Yesterday, as Artemis was approaching the moon where they were about to start their observations, a coworker stopped by my cube to get an update. I had tunneled into the building's digital signage to show NASA TV Live of the event. I was monitoring those on one of my computers at my desk. He asked, "Anything new?" I responded, "You mean after they almost hit the moon?" "They almost hit the moon?" he asked. "Yes, as they were setting up the cameras, Victor Glover saw how close they were and yelled, "I got this! He grabbed the controller, put the spacecraft into a power slide, and barely missed the moon. They even kicked up some dust as he got the craft back under control." Kevin started to grin as I told him this. "I can't tell when you are serious or telling me a story. Your expression does not change from serious to joking like most people." That is when I broke out into a smile. "I can, however, see Victor doing just that!" as he laughed.
