TV Director

Today I am running a multi-camera shoot for an executive-level video conference. The interesting thing is, the only audience that sees what I am doing is one guy at another site. I considered the audience and am working with the multi-camera as if there were many more people than those who are really seeing my work. In my career, I have directed live and recorded multi-camera shoots for audiences numbering in the many thousands. In some instances, millions; today, I am directing for an audience of one. I don't take the audience of one any less seriously than when I directed for many thousands. I guess I love what I do.
